One of my personal hates are cardinal numbers for dates. We had a perfectly good way of saying the date till some thought that it sounded smarter to say November 6. What the??
Another peeve is "math", it's creeping in here. Also staffer for staff member, meet with instead of just plain old meet or had a meeting with.
I can understand the adoption of new terms if there is no suitable equivalent, the English language is full of them, but not when there is a perfectly good existing word.
