In some ways we are grunting at one another.
Texting has become grunting.
Abbreviating language has some advantages in shorting messages.
However it also limits definition of expression.
I doubt many today could write a novel that conforms to a form that most could comprehend.
Let alone write a business letter that has the precision required to be legal let alone understood.
