AUKUS doesn't allow us the be defensible. we lose sovereignty over our nuke subs (if we ever get them) and are tied to pay $Bns to USA and UK, complete with compensation for their considerable "losses", even if they withdraw for no reason other than a perceivable impact on UK/US reduction in their construction capacity.
and we get no benefit by building all the machines here in Aus.
