    hi pd,

where we usually stay in france we're on one of the euro routes for the 'camino de santiago'. one yr we met an 80 yr old frenchman from fontainbleau, sth of paris. from memory, his walk plan was 4 mths. also met two great germans who cycled from rome. they took plane from munich and biked the warmer climes. flew back from santiago. we had a hilarious time with these two. they planned a one night stop and stayed a week with us on the camp site. now where was i ? oh yes, we have even seen hidden backpacks and someone thumbing a lift. easy that way he he. get a lift, rush to hidden backpack and staff, wheeeeeeeee get their quickie like. our local watchmaker did the spanish stretch which took him thro all august. a great mix of peoples. religious and non religious. super scenery all the way. plenty of bar stops for food and drink. many people do it in sections. a bit each trip.

    we'll see you yet dex.

    be good,

    40.
