we have actually learned some things - not that I think we will gain anything from the lessons as usual
On your list is food
Well - we learned that in these times - we end up with gluts of some foods - the obvious example is seafood
in wartime however - we would have huge surpluses if transportation was disrupted
tasmania alone could easily feed the whole nation
Through 2 crisies in as many months we also learned that Liberals are as useless as a power point when the lines are down -
we also learned that there are no policies for these things in place and that hopeless governments have to’work out’ what actions to take
it seems that they were not aware of transmissible diseases - apparently it’s a new fad
What we learned from this is that there’s little point in actually having government - because when you need them - they have no idea
communities could have done everything and more without federal or state governments for all the good they have done
