    Mr T,

Hit the nail on the head

"The government is definately one entity that is having a great time with australias property mania"

Govt's have not been in the business of upgrading / expanding infastructure for sometime now, and they are wetting their pants - State Gov'ts that is, as they are all coming up for re election soon.

They have passed the batten to developers through some niffty legislation and absolved themselves from much of this responsibility.

The list is endless and the two big kickers outside the realm of developers are water and power. Food prices may have gone up, but will fade into distant memory once we start receiving water & power bills in 5 years time, that are factored to include the repayment of infastructure upgrades.

All in all knee jerk reactions to problems that have been around for years, but conveniently ignored thanks primarily to political correctness and the influence of minor political parties

They really are a bunch of dumbasses

Bring back death duties and adopt the Phylosophy of the Henry George League I say (just kidding !)

    OA
