Hedge fund shorts can be set anytime, and they're not publicly available until the following day. 18c could be a good place to set the belly. ASX will purge out of scope bids and offers, so it's gotta be in the range or come off board.

IMO - If a stock [whatever it is] is available to short, and it is not there, it can be a sign that there are easier/weaker marks out there. But unfortunally it's old news list, funds resisted pre listing moves, as it would put their plans/strategy at risk.
