    Hi gkara,

    The whole drug development pathway including clinical trial design, format and protocols and other regulatory processes can be painfully slow, and will often test even the most patient investors, however OBJ isn't developing drugs and the P&G molecules in these trials are already used across a number of P&G's global product platforms, therefore there will likely to be less regulatory barriers to the full commercialisation of P&G consumer products incorporating OBJ's technology platforms.

    Importantly, many of the delays experienced within the Australian biotech sector in regards to clinical trials can often be attributed to the lack of capital funding, as they can easily burn tens, if not hundreds of millions of dollars. However, Procter & Gamble have a $2.2 billion dollar annual R&D budget, some of the world´s best reliability engineering capability, safety management data capability, and its consumer products R&D centres are some of the most efficient in the world. When it comes to commercialising consumer products, P&G's success rate is second to none.

    All this and much more has yet to be factored in to the value of OBJ's securities, so the question isn't really if it will ever be factored in - The only question is when!

    In direct answer to your question, I would speculate that OBJ and P&G will announce plans to proceed into the development and manufacturing of new products before June 2013. Remember these trials are testing consumer products.

    OBJ announced:

    "If successful, these two clinical trials will lay the groundwork for discussions into the possible development and manufacture of products incorporating OBJ’s technology,” stated Mr Denison.

    OBJ shareholders who have come to understand our director's conservative style of writing will probably interpret that statement to read:

    If successful, these two clinical trials will lay the groundwork for discussions into the possible development and manufacture of products incorporating OBJ’s technology.

    Even one week out from our first official product launch I'd expect (if we're lucky to receive anything) a notice to read something like;

    The board have layed the groundwork for possible discussions which, if successful may lead to the potential for the commercialisation of a product which may potentially incorporate one of OBJ's technologies ;)
