How to make everyone happy.
What if a coMpany Quickly Gained 10% of AMP on Thursday's raising and launched a takeover offer around $3 next week.
Everybody is happy then. Mr Murray gets his retirement funds back, Mr Ferrari gets his bonus, shareholders get some of their money back, advisers now have a new income stream selling MQG managed investments, MQG gets a very large injection of FUM, MQG gets to redirect $1.7b into it's own coffers and AMP clients outflow will reverse with MQG now handling the fund management.
I remember reading MQG had a bulging pocket full of $$$ and little growth opportunities this year.
Plus MQG gets naming rights above the newly developed block at circular quay in Sydney in 2021. Not to mention all the cost synergies that could be culled between AMP capital and MQG.
What if a suiter gained 10% of AMP on the CR.
