Believe today’s selling is nothing more that the blind leading the blind. Initial trades were of low quantities and probably T+3 sales from Tuesday. Investors seeing the selling probably panicked and believed that the fact that no announcement has been made by the company despite being so close on Aptian level on Monday afternoon must mean that this well is a duster.

However, those that have followed BKP would know that the company will only release drill updates on Tuesday’s regardless of whether they have oil shows or not. Only evaluation of wireline logs would constitute definitive information required to be released any earlier. In addition, given previous drill rates and the fact that they will drill to at least 4000m in my opinion I doubt any insight is available given they are probably only at 3840.

I guess Tuesday will tell.
