Good one Dogon. Please add a question about: what is the metal content of the precipitates that comes out of the laterites at Ramu. Many laterites have scandium, platinum group of metals and other valuables. These rare metals could be in the exported mixed metal hydrates, or in the "chromite" that is trucked from the refinery, or in the "waste" that is currently being dumped into the sea near Ramu. At the moment, it is quite possible that these metals are being extracted at the refineries in China, and HIG shareholders are non the wiser. HIG could easily carry out, and publish, the results of analysis that targets a suite of 50 metals in the raw material and the extracts (ALS does it for about $50 per sample). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think HIG has ever published this type of data.
