Hey,
I've been holding for a while, but the one thing that keeps troubling me is the possibility of signal encryption.
Given that modern encryption used is basically un-hackable, couldn't drone manufacturers simply use end to end encryption to render Mesmer completely useless?
I expect that governments will ultimately demand that stock drones sold on the market will have built in vulnerabilities that security systems can exploit, but there will always be aftermarket solutions, as well as specifically designed drones. This is especially true for war zones.
Same goes for pre-programmed flight paths. I have previously (March 17) put this question to Jonathan Hunter, but haven't received an answer.
Any thoughts?
