I not sure if make any difference at all to revenues due to bad ad market but the tv ratings for cricket on channel seven particular current melb match have been huge. Biggest view since afl grand final . Look
like people watching on phones etc when out as 7 plus numbers very high
nightly big bash viewing has also been significant higher than last year. Maybe does not translate to higher revenue but companies getting lot more people watching their ads.
with the best commentary by far on seven with Ricky Ponting and Damien Fleming , Justin langer and others the game knowledge and understanding is so much better than the fox sports commentary I not understand why anyone would watch cricket on fox anymore.
even seven nightly news now beat channel nine by huge margins on back of cricket. Be nice if increased viewers in large amounts for cricket translate to higher revenue be paid to seven from ad company as lots more people watching
