Am a long term holder of SWM and a little under water with paper losses. It’s well undervalued but the market is discounting heavily the old media business but not yet properly valuing its BVOD and WA assets. Either the market will ultimately respond to proper value or Stokes in my view will ultimately take it private. If this happens there would be a premium paid to minority shareholders. Fair value of shares is around 40 cents in my view, so if that’s the offer Stokes made then you either make some money if you paid less than that for your shares, or a loss if you paid more. I recently bought more at current levels and betting either a revaluation of market price to fair value (arising from cost cutting measures and improved or stabilised earnings) or wait for Stokes to buy me out.
