    your telling me, you could build an electric truck, that could transport say 20 tonn of freight from Melbourne to Sydney?

    as for a 747, which burns about 700ml of jet fule per second, and weighs in at about 450tonn and can fly 10,000 km.. if this can be done with other fule, why has it not been?

    I dont think a rocket is that efficent and it use's other fules..

    I support nuke power so happy with your ship answer! but a nuclear reactor in a moving vehical is not a safe solution, and only aware of it in aircraft carriers etc?

    But how can a 16kw electric motor be as powerful as a 160kw petrol engine? also, how much weight in the batteries? and how often do they need to be replaced.. and cost?
    there is no way you can get the same amount of work from a electric car, ie to make a electric truck.

    Think of this, there are electric trains, and deisel trains.. so why are all the freight trains powered by deisel?
