There is a lot of difference in the party policies. Trump dropped company tax down to 17% when he took office and tax revenue increased it didn't decrease like you would think it would. Large companies like TNT in the USA gave their workers a 2% bonus for free because their taxes decreased. That's just a small example of what occurred. The democrats tax tips that workers get for services, waiters etc and because it's added to the bill these people cannot work out their finances as they are taxed at different rates at different times depending on how many tips you get. Trump learnt this from a waitress that served him so he promised her that he would scrap tax altogether on tips and he announced that he will be scrapping them. That's just a small eg.
