Trump's had 4 years to think things over plus a near death experience so I don't think it's guaranteed that he'll jump in and push the policies that most think he favours.

I would be surprised if he went down the inflationary path, ie; becoming less reliant on China's cheap goods which include 'green'... they've got the electrification of the planet by the balls. The USA need China, the FED needs China, the world needs a healthy China economy and at the moment it's teetering.

Then there's Ukraine / Russia war that needs addressing which he seems confident about and that might result in bringing Russia back into global trade and their cozy relationship with China could be opened up.
