How many folks on this forum are actually feeling the effects of the crisis.
Apart from stock prices being well down,is anyone feeling any pain at all?
As I have posted before,it seems as if we are largely avoiding any real pain.
Apart from Kevin Rudd and Wayne Swan,everyone else seems largely oblivious.
The govt rhetoric is getting more pessimistic by the day,yet everyone else seems blissfully unaware and is just continuing on their merry way.
Do we actually need the govt to spend $42 billion?
Are things really that bad if hair dressers can charge $465 and plumbers $100 an hour?
These prices feel more boom time than recessionary.
Is it still the calm before the storm or are we about to be whacked with the reality stick.
