If you were brought up by very strict parents to be a Zombie that can't make your own decisions without asking for advice, or stand on your own two feet, you might consider accepting such an offer, where you will live in the shadow of your parents for some time, with substantial respect issues going on. Probably still get treated like a child like you haven't moved out of home. Doesn't sound like it will be popular to me.
