Great speculation on possible outcomes of negotiation. No one has added the possibility of a second paty being interested before negotiations are complete. If current pharma drags out negotiations and if the prospect is as good as you say, then why wouldn't another big pharma try to get in on the action.
IMO this would be in the back of the mind of both parties during these negotiation.
