i disagree that EQX have the upper hand as we own 25%, they own 19.9%. We also have control over the board and management of the project. EQX (like us) is in the irght place at the right time - the last two weeks have highlighted this to masses and possibly eqx knew a bid was coming for SDL and they wanted to make sure they were in the game for AKI.
The amazing part about all of this (and tokyo highlighted it in an earlier post) is that we have the marampa project, 25% of AKI, pinnacle assets and a MASSIVE amount of exploration permits in Sierra Leone to move onto once Marampa is sold. The big diffence though is we have access to cheaper infrastucture and rail.
It is starting to look like Sage is miracle worker and if he sells Marampa it will just be the beginning as AKI is next.
