well the SPP price is the lower of $16 and the 5-day VWAP up to and incluing the 30th.
Since Monday is a holiday, that VWAP pricing period has started today I guess.
Unless they go down the route of subdividing their holdings and making multiple 10k applications for the SPP, there would not be much point for the bigshots to be manipulating the share price to influence the SPP outcome.
And while this was quite clearly the case with QBE, I can't see it happening with Westpac.
