I have a reasonable but responsible amount of debt.
I have a debt reduction strategy and an investment strategy.
They all work in tandem.
Right now I am not comfortable investing more funds into property or shares, so debt reduction is the priority. But debt reduction provides funds to invest when the time is right. Offset accounts are wonderful things.
Essentially what I was saying is that if I spend a lot on a car I have less to invest. The ins and out of it are complicated but the premise is simple.
