"Without even going into interest rates my way saves me $150k over the life of three X5."
And the calculations and assumptions to arrive at that figure are conspicuosly absent. Hmmm....
A summary of the events:
- You asked for a lease rate based on a 3-year term and $100k vehicle and provided no other parameters that would affect the rate. The purpose was to do a comparison, but you purposefully did not disclose what you would be comparing the lease arrangement against;
- I plucked a rate out of the air, presumed you would be doing a comparison with your own personal circumstances (not really an 'apples with apples comparison', but I digress), and pointed out that this would be a pointless exercise because you are going to massage the numbers to get the outcome you want because of you pre-existing bias against lease arrangements;
- You crack the sads and no longer want to post your calculations or assumptions for scrutiny. Loser.
