Glug, if a POA is not required, why did a trained lawyer organise one ? Allegedly falsely but why get it at all?
Your view is that getting to the bottom of this is a waste of time and resources and that they should be tracing the money. How do you know they are not , and that this isn't more important to it than you think.
Alternatively, you may be right and it may be all politically motivated, but what a score that would be. Our Prime Minister rightly or wrongly has a public perception of being a liar. Are you really that surprised it is constantly pursued? Particularly given that the documents that could clear it all up are missing? If they turned up, the pursuit and time wasting could stop.
