Yeah it could along those lines. 'Earth' is often used to refer to the human race. Adam was created from the dust of the Earth, we are Earthen vessels, Jars of Clay (Earth) etc. We eat the 'dust of the Earth' so that line of thinking could be on the money. Brings a whole different light to the passage "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." Though al the non KJV versions say 'on' Earth which is a bit sus imo as it conveys a different meaning. But anyway revelations talks about a lot of nastiness happening to the Earth as well in way that seems to imply the planet rather than the human race. Maybe in the end it's all interchangeable?
