Understand your point and $60k+ of school fees a year is expensive when it is after tax money. Just as well the government chips in plenty extra for these schools - they always need another rifle range LOL.
But obviously, that is a choice you make - private school fees can not be seen in any way as a necessity - they are a choice you make. I have a pre-schooler and pay for a private pre-school (the only ones we have where I live), but then she'll be off to the local Government schools. Take out that $60k after tax and you could earn $100k less and switch to a 2 and a half day week......
