what is a good income these days, page-20

Interesting subject this. I think people should discuss 'life' rather than money.Many people work 60-70 hours a week to keep their income high.....and one minute they're thiry years old...then they blink (almost) and they're fifty. Life is short....it's how you live it and working to maintain a 'position' in society,to me is crazy. I do what I want,when I want...share life with my kids and grandkids.... what do they say? work to live....don't live to work. I have found that no matter how much money I made we always seemed to live to that level....not necessarily happier.I made some adjustments a few years ago and live a simple,full, enjoyable life....I don't envy anyone...anywhere.Most of all I consider myself lucky to be an Aussie....we have it so good.
