If you think that then you have a different idea as to where the middle is situated.

Just think about this. It is school holiday time. A lot of the "middle class" are having a holiday and decide to pay high rent, travel long distance, "Rough it" with the locals, try and find the fish, go to the clubs etc etc. They are having a holiday and "enjoying" the lifestyle that the local "poor" enjoy all year round. They wont catch the fish because they wont know the best places. They will take a chance on the weather and this time it has been bad. Not the good weather the poor people enjoyed last week and will enjoy again next week. They had crowded clubs because of the extras in town. They probably ate at the fanciest looking restaurant where the locals know that the food is not as good as the one down the road.

Then they will go back to their high pressure job for a few more months to pay the bills and maybe earn enough to have the same again soon.

The "poor" will relax enjoy the next few months and get ready to suffer the rich for a week at Christmas. Even then they wont suffer much as they will be spending too much time with their family at home to be annoyed with the tourists.

Life is what you make it, Sometimes money helps but more often it only applies pressure.
