I think "MUM&DAD" investors is a misnomer anyway.
Most let the fundies arrange their investments and a portion chase penny stocks hoping for a ten bagger or a mixture of both
.
Both are a mugs game IMO.
Be in control.
Pay a good price for Blue Chips.
Trade on TA/FA.
Keep ST/LT parcels in the quality areas.
At least you know who to blame if things go wrong and learn from your mistakes.
Volume has been increasing news.com or no news.com
Or maybe the only "MUM&DAD" investor is in the dictionary these days as online brokers have a solid platform.
