    quite the opposite! a long short is not a strategic investment

    blue chip shares such as:
    bhp
    big bank
    rio
    westfarmers
    westfield
    woolworths

    quants
    precious metals
    lics
    unit trusts
    cash fund
    bond funds
    multi currency fund
    residential property trusts
    term deposits
    a rental house

    would be classed strategic investments.
