Chalmers didn't reintroduce it.
The measure was part of the Coalitions legislated three stage "Lower Fairer, Simpler Taxes" which addressed bracket creep by adjusting thresholds and offsets over time. Ending the LMITO helped pay for some pre-election bribes for the 2022 election.
Albo's Government will probably do similar next election.
