Coz i cannot see anyone whom can compete with them in terms of DVDs n movies and Cds.

No-one

When i want to buy a dvd or a CD I naturally instictively go to JB Hi Fi

Who else or where else is OBVIOUS to go for DVDs movies and Cds???

HMV VIRGIN cant compete with them in terms of price;

Nor can KMART or MYERS (in some cases kmart or target CAN compete with them, BUT, their 'RANGE' isnt anywhere near as great. Thats the prob!)

JBH has the DVD n CD market

****Apart from that Coca-cola cans will ALWAYS be bought no matter recession or depression!

* LNN has the TOOHEYS BRAND thats very very popular in most of the country - i think its the leading beer in terms of popularity; FGL has VB n Carlton which are up there also along with TOOHEYS. LNN has better fundamentals and management though than FGL, although i like FGLs brands also. LNN just has a much better balance sheet and ROE n ROIC n ROA (return on equity, return on capital , return on assets) are very good and look much better than FGL!

* TRS - the reject shop - recession proof and unbelievable balance sheet, and look at Return on equity! Unbelievable!

* MTS - has done well considering we're in a 'recession' - they were able to grow their revenue and margins in this climate.

AGK , HSP, RHC also done well, but im not too sure bout debt levels and returns on equity and returns on equity+debt for RHC n HSP

CDD also good fundamentally
