How come you own a share & dont know what they are doing? ... Like they have just had a rights issue?
The deal is this ... The AVX rights will trade until April 12 ... So if you dont wish to take the rights yourself, you have until then to sell them on market.
If you want to keep them, you then have until April 19 to pay 53 cents per share to excercise them. If they have not received you check by then they expire & you lose the dough!
Your choice ...
1] sell them now for some cash
2] Excercise them @ 53 cents each & keep the shares
