It gets stranger than fiction in the Northern Rivers.
Geologically the Clarence Morton Basin is the southern extension of the Surat Basin in Qld where a lot of those 4000 farmers with CSG agreements reside.
Similar geology, a few hundred kms distant but WORLDS APART in progress.
I remember the old daylight savings joke of travelling north across the NSW/Qld border and going back 20 yrs in time ... oh my there seems to have been a break in the time/space continuum as now it applies only to the southward journey.
