How do child care centres keep increasing fees in an environment of no wage growth and rising unemployment ?
I don't have a particular view on birth rates post the GFC however, anecdotally I notice an increasing number of people who are childless or who have 1 child.
Enrolments in private primary schools in Sydney are down a great deal. My youngest child's kindergarten (private) has its smallest class in ever.
