Another factor which was driving the share price during the year was the shares released from ESCROW. Now as 30 million shares were releaed for the "Unrelated Seed Capital Shareholders and Unrelated Vendors", this could have been a large factor in the share price considering only 60 million shares were sold in the float.
Now there are also 150 million shares held in ESCROW for "Related Seed Capital Shareholders and Related Vendors" but you need to consider the following
- They are all held for 24 months following listing
- They are held by people Related to NFL ... probably not gonig to sell the shares as soon as they get them to make a quick buck. Perhaps we could show a bit of caution around December 2008.
Also, a quick review of how all Aussie Biofuel companies have gone sharewise over the last six months and compare that to NFL which has dropped from 107 to 25 cents.
AAE - Dropped from 30.5 to 24 cents. Currently at its lowest share price over the last six months
ABJ - Dropped from 20.5 to 6.6 cents. Lowest share price was 4.6 cents, so currently 40% up from its low
ARW - Dropped from 40 to 21.5 cents. Lowest share price was 18 cents, so currently 20% up from its low
MBT - Rose from 127 to 128 cents, peaked at 178 cents
SBI - Dropped from 60 to 22.5 cents. Lowest share price was 20 cents, co currently about 10% up from low
Notes to take into consideration regarding share prices
ABJ - Had a 7 for 3 rights issue in late March. 6.6 cents now is equivalent to 20 cents for the original shares
SBI - Announced delaying commissioning of their plant in June which immediately dropped the share price 20 cents
Both ABJ and ARW using Tallow as feedstock, seem unable to see commercial quantities of Biodiesel in Australia at this point in time
ps: The "bottom" was first called for NFL shares on this forum on the 5th January this year at 115 cents
Another factor which was driving the share price during the year...
