-Without trade and European assistance in cultivating and maintaining the land, Ivory Coast will be a waste land with non western influence that they have enjoyed for hundreds of years.;

-Ivory Coast is not part of Arabia thus causing hostility between Arabs and the west.;
-Ivory Coast has unicameral legislature whereby government is elected once every five years.;
-Ivory coast religious make-up is 30% Christian, 40% Muslim and 30% Indigenous thus religious group and beliefs are grossly split in three.;
-It is in Frances and Ivory Coast' government best interests for France to uphold peace in the region and have single handedly saved thousands of civilians from junta rebels.;
-The UN along with France have brokered deals, with four neighbouring countries to accept refugees when fighting gets ugly.;
-France have never killed innocent children throwing rocks at tanks, they are there to defend not to attack as the rebels keep knocking back peace deals but the Ivory Coast government has not given up and keeps trying.;
