trying to pick future interest rates is a mug's game.
same goes for currency exchange rates and commodity prices.
too often expert predictions are wrong. it's too unpredictable.
holding high quality businesses' stocks for the long term is a valid investment strategy,
at least for part of the portfolio.
and macroeconomic factors are only part of the reason businesses succeed or not.
Earnings growth also counts a lot.
