Yes spot on Nailbiter, and that's why the management is against a takeover. The collapsed share price doesn't affect them nearly as much as us shareholders. Unlike them we don't have million dollar salaries, our income as investors depend on the value they grow for us and we trust them to fulfil that role and they are very well paid. Their income just keeps rolling in irrespective of how well they perform their no 1 responsibility to us - return value to share holders. Over the past year HZN shares have lost 79% of value, making the company one of the worst performing on the entire ASX. So the vision of management as you say is to limp along, hoping for an increase in the POO, or to make a major oil strike etc. Option 2, full script takeover by OSH would see management's share holdings worth a lot more but the incomes would cease. I believe it should and will happen despite the protests from management. The top shareholders must be as sick of the underperformance as we are, they would surely like to become part of a much more dynamic and well funded company like OSH.
