I recall the 60s with great fondness, i was born in 61 and remember going into town with mum and everybody over 40 wore a hat especially the ladies, the going out hat was a real show piece, lots of people had chooks in thier backyard as we did in brissy westernt suburbs, i never wore shoes to school and 90% of the boys didnt either, fish were plentifull and you didnt see many boast on water, rich people had above ground pools, you know the 3foot deep ones, and yes people were very different then to now, but then again we have so many different people now.
