Dave, granted the drug culture creates fear in people, but the biggest change has been to peoples outlooks in general and to each other. Most(?) now appear to be completely self centred and uncaring towards the plight of others. People get mugged in broad daylight while others watch without helping.......people ignore others in distress; people collapse and others just walk around them or over them. Just listen to the heartess reactions here on HC to various scenarios - I'd say we had a pretty good cross-section of the Australian populace on Hotcopper. The legendary mateship we once enjoyed is virtually gone forever, except maybe in some small remote communities..........
