From what I understand, yes dodo is picking up decent market share (15%of market share of new contracts per month) so yes it's going well but I was just saying that perhaps instead of just securing 10% of the total market (previously about 7% market share but growing) perhaps we could do more and should. The problem with nbn I feel is that it's commodotised . Every company is using the same system, same infrastructure - there's nothing really different from each other - as such price is an issue imo whether it's high end or low end. Like you said every man woman's and dog can also have their own telco company. It could potentially get quite rough in the market. That's why I was saying perhaps we need to integrate the fetch tv together with the broadband service as a way to differentiate. To be honest personally I don't think fetch tv is all that good but hey, it's a differentiator. But leveling the playing field with price could do some good albeit with lower margins. ( which I assume would be temporary until nbn matures - I mean no one likes changing their internet service provider , it's a pain.) tpg is pulling some awesome numbers (market share wise) and I think it's due to price and name. If Geoff thinks it's a once in a generation fight then he should be going all guns blazing.
