BTI do disclose their valuation methodology for the various investments, but in most instances it is currently based on management assessments rather than market-based assessments. A external liquidity event is really the only true basis to assess market values and none of the investments have been subject to disposal/IPO to date - what is someone really willing to pay for a piece of the investment.
