They had a terrific run early last year, but since then its been terrible. I do't think the market likes them raising money, diluting and investing in more things, but not having a liquidity event as @rodo99 says.
Good on the shareholders for calling. Good on BTI for being upfront about it too. No doubt have more substantial holding than I do. They are like Powerhouse, Redbubble, Chapmans, none of them appear to have realised a single investment. At some point they have to deliver. I'm sure they want to realise an investment, they can't get paid a performance fee (meaning: bonus) until they do. I'm just getting worries. In the chart in the NTA they showed all these other companies and how their share prices have fallen. Well hang on they're still on high PEs and have just come off of huge PEs and have listed. Let's not compare our expansion stage companies with those proven beasts
Can anyone copy a chart to HotCopper? On Commsec you can plot their share price vs the 200 IT sector. That is a pretty damning chart. BTI is an LIC, and LICs trade at a discount if they aren't chart toppers. You are exactly right, we discount their valuation of these assets until we can see a firm confirmation of it
Edit: Oh gee thats terrible. I just went to their website investor relations page, which I do like, and they have notice of meeting for AGM up already! 11 October. My heart lept, maybe I missed the AGM. Alas it was for 2016. Stale investor relations page that one. Ditto the Share Price button takes me away from their website and closes the Bailador website. It doesn't even give me the share price, just a blank ASX page. For IT and savvy experts, this is really crummy. It costs $50 to get a share price ticket on a website
I put a buy on this, but I can see this in the low 70s very easily. They brought in a lot of money at and above $1, will be pretty disappointed I think. Time to deliver boys
