11. Ongoing Exploration Program
At the Box Hole MVT lead-zinc project, lead and zinc analysis
results from the RAB drilling are currently awaited and will form the
basis of a detailed review of all Box Hole data. Provided results are
encouraging, RC drilling will be planned in 2009 to confirm the RAB
results and to test deeper targets.
At the Marqua phosphate and base metal project, an aircore drilling
program will be undertaken in the September quarter of 2008 to
outline the extent, thickness and grade of selected phosphate-rich
sections of Thorntonia Limestone, and to test a number of shallow
base metal targets.
At the Barr Creek phosphate and base metal project, phosphate
analysis results from field sampling in June 2008 are currently awaited
and will form the basis of a detailed review of all Barr Creek data. A
drill program to test the extent, thickness and grade of phosphate
mineralisation at Barr Creek will be planned and all necessary
approvals obtained to allow drill testing of phosphate targets in the
2009 field season.
At the Mt Skinner base metal and uranium project, field
reconnaissance will be undertaken to map and sample prospective
areas within the tenements, with a view to planning more detailed
follow-up exploration work in the 2009 field season.
All projects will be reviewed in detail over the summer wet-season, to
prioritise, plan and budget the 2009 field season.
