I still can't understand why the typhoon in the Philippines...

I still can't understand why the typhoon in the Philippines three weeks ago and a bank holiday in the P.I. the following Monday can have that much of an impact on the Royal Bank of Scotland. The "deal" was done in Hong Kong so there must be much more happening behind the scenes. how can they not ask for a trading halt if their cash situation has to be monitored on a daily basis? I'd expect another query from ASIC or ASX soon.
