The JV with GF in hindsight should have been the sign we all needed to jump ship, however many of us interpreted it the wrong way. Sure a JV with the third biggest gold producer is great but GF wouldnt want the CQT sp to run away from them now would they? I guess its a lesson learned. When the big players come for a gander, then its time to move on and look elsewhere. Perhaps this is why the sp rose to 90c after the JV announcement only to drop rapidly.
The money in the bank is also great but it could also be seen to be a negative. After all, with all that money in the bank whats the rush for management to do anything. They can sit back and relax. No need to keep the sp up with no capital raising needed in the near future.
We all expected the sp to steadily increase and then GF would take CQT over. The latter is probably true but only if the former is incorrect. This is what we are seeing.
I guess we should just sit back and wait. What else can we do.
