Bega got a huge cash injection from the sale of shares in WCB. What have they done with the money ? Pay down debt but not much else. There must be some small and medium size dairy companies producing cheese / yogurts and related products that could be acquired by Bega and added to their product portfolio. The dairy business seems to be a business that if the company is not going forwards it is going backwards.
Producing and packing cheese for Coles may add volume to Bega's business but is unlikely to produce much profit. It seems to be a waste of high quality milk to produce low margin 'house branded' products for supermarkets.
