I know nothing of this "rumour"...LOL...if in fact there is one?
I can tell you this much however...they ARE currently in talks regarding the acquisition of, or farm-in into more 'u' ground...so standby for news.
In all this 'u' frenzy, lets not forget Gullewa.
They are currently deep drilling as I type to test a few targets generated from their resource model...this is below the known resource of 425,000oz Au Eq @ 6.2g/t which has only been calculated down to a depth of 210m.
Given their relatively high understanding of the geological controls effecting this particular resource, my bet is they have a better than 50/50 chance of hitting something reasonable.
If they do, the implications could be significant...even so much as a "doubling" of the current resource is not out of the question.
Importantly, it might also give the project the critical mass it requires to finally get it over the line and help address the troublesome oxide and transitional ores.
It has been a very tough road for long term followers of BTV and their Gullewa project...the BFS seems to have been going on forever without a definative outcome.
As evidenced by the low share price, shareholders have not been too impressed to date, so perhaps they are due for a change of lusk?
